The juicy Cantina Tramin Lagrein Rosé has a pleasant fullness and reveals raspberry, dark red cherry, and something pleasantly spicy on the palate. A beautiful rosé that wonderfully complements hearty Tyrolean dishes, excellent smoked fish and speck, as well as salami and mountain cheeses.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eCantina Tramin – Winemaking\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe mild winter of the 2024 vintage with sufficient rainfall, as well as a warm March also blessed with rain, led to an early bud break of the vines. Subsequently, it was rather cool and damp from a few early summer days in April until the end of June. The summer was warm with many hours of sunshine, and a rainy autumn extended the vegetative phase of the grapes. Overall, 2024 was a challenging vintage, requiring many extra hours of work in the vineyard. Thanks to a consistent implementation of the quality philosophy, the experience of the winemakers, and the cooperation within the cooperative, the Cantina Tramin was able to harvest remarkably high-quality grape material, especially for the white grape varieties and Pinot Noir. Thus, the 2024 vintage white wines are delicate and fresh in the glass, while among the reds, the elegance of the Pinot Noir particularly stands out.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe vines for this Cantina Tramin Cuvée grow on calcareous and gravelly clay soils on hillsides between 250 and 400 m above sea level. The grapes were harvested at the time of their respective optimal physiological ripeness and transported in small containers to the winery building, where they were destemmed. The destemmed grapes spend a night in contact with the skins, and the juice is extracted the next morning before the must ferments in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature (20 – 22°C).
