It strikes a good balance between body and acidity. The South Tyrolean wine is fresh and fruity with good richness and a delicate mellowness. It is a versatile food companion, pairing equally well with fine appetizers and fish dishes, as well as antipasti with vegetables or white meat dishes.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eCantina Tramin – Winemaking\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA mild, low-precipitation winter with plenty of sunshine was followed by a dry March in the 2023 vintage, with relatively early bud break. Although spring was rather cool and rainy, June saw a mix of hot sunny days and precipitation. A hot summer and a rainy start to September demanded a lot of work from the winemakers. Fortunately, the weather gods granted South Tyrol a golden autumn with ideal conditions for the grape harvest. Thanks to targeted work in the vineyard, as well as the experience and care of the cooperative members of Cantina Tramin, the numerous challenges of the 2023 vintage were mastered brilliantly. The white wines of the 2023 vintage are cool and delicate, captivating with juicy freshness and crispness. The red wines, especially the Pinot Noir, excel in elegance and finesse.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Pinot Bianco vines for this Cantina Tramin wine grow on calcareous and stony loam soils on hillsides between 250 to 500 m above sea level. The grapes were harvested by hand in several passes at the time of optimal physiological ripeness and transported to the winery in small containers. There, they were destemmed and gently pressed.
