Even if not every plate is made on the potter's wheel, it is still taken in hand by Rui, whose family has mastered the pottery craft for over 200 years, cast, sanded and individually glazed with these great colors, which by the way are food-safe and free of harmful chemicals, by his aunt Regina, among others. To preserve the shine of the glaze, we recommend washing the plate by hand. Each plate is unique. Small irregularities in the glaze are normal and intentional. This way, every bowl, every plate, every jug always looks a little different. The strokes are also not perfectly geometric but painted by eye.
