Diabase is a basalt-flint that produces its very own, unmistakable minerality.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAfter 100% selective hand-picking of their own grapes, gentle pressing and spontaneous fermentation of the VDP.Gutswein takes place in the old cellar below the new vinotheque, with aging in neutral fuder barrels. The Forstmeister Geltz-Zilliken Saarburg Riesling is clear, juicy with aromas of green Cox Orange apple, peach and lime, complemented by herbaceous chamomile and bitter notes of green tea, with stony-salty minerality, Saar acidity and dancing lightness.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\"Delicious, vibrant and persistent,\" is how winemaker Dorothee Zilliken describes the Saarburg Riesling 2022.
