On the palate, this organic natural wine is bone-dry with fine fruit melt, the complex nose is reflected on the palate and ends in an endless finish of lime jelly and peppermint. A balanced natural wine with a moderate alcohol content that provides a lot of drinking pleasure. It pairs well with spicy cheeses with pear mustard or fatty roasts.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eFred Loimer - Winemaking\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe grapes for the Muskateller mit Achtung from Weingut Loimer come from vineyards in Gumpoldskirchen at an altitude of 250 meters, where they benefit from the Pannonian climate with hot summers and dry autumns. They grow on clayey sedimentary soils interspersed with limestone gravel. The Muskateller was harvested from early to mid-September 2021 - naturally by hand, selectively in small 20kg boxes. It was spontaneously fermented for four weeks on the skins in oak barrels. Subsequently, the Muskateller mit Achtung was aged for 12 months on the full lees, then for another 6 months on the fine lees, before being bottled in August 2022 without fining or filtration.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Muskateller mit Achtung is an orange wine, which it clearly shows with its beautiful orange-yellow color, but which actually refers to a winemaking process in which the skins of white grapes are fermented with the must, as in red wine production, allowing the skins to release aromatic and tannic compounds into the must.
