On the palate, the Zweigelt from Weingut Heinrich shows delicate, grippy tannins and a pleasant coolness. Resistance to drinking is futile.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eGernot Heinrich – Winemaking\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Zweigelt grapes, hand-picked at the end of August 2019, come from both sides of Lake Neusiedl, from the Leitha Mountains and the Parndorf Plain. Heike and Gernot Heinrich cultivate their vineyards organically-biologically or biodynamically with a lot of manual work and care. After harvesting, the grapes remain on the mash for two weeks in wooden fermentation vats and stainless steel tanks, then gently pressed in a basket press and spontaneously fermented.
