Immediately after delivery to the winery, the grapes were gently pressed using a pneumatic press.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Oliver Zeter Grauburgunder wonderfully displays the advantages of its grape variety. On the nose, local core fruits such as apple and pear compete with tropical citrus fruits, grapefruit, and lychee. On the palate, nutty notes join those of meadow herbs. This estate Grauburgunder from the Palatinate is juicy and full-bodied with a delicate creaminess. Thus, this dry Burgundy is a good food companion - but also delightful on its own!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eOliver Zeter – Winemaking\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOptimal exclusion of oxygen during pressing reduced unwanted oxidation and the associated loss of aromas. The fresh must clarified itself naturally through sedimentation. The subsequent fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks at approx. 18° C and proceeded very slowly to preserve the fruit. A portion of the total volume was spontaneously fermented in wooden barrels. After aging on fine lees, the wine was bottled unfined and only lightly filtered.
