Immediately after delivery to the winery, the grapes were gently pressed using a pneumatic press.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Oliver Zeter Pinot Gris 2025 is characterized by its special freshness and elegance, clearly showcasing the individual character of the grape variety. On the nose, local pome fruits like apple and pear compete with tropical citrus fruits, grapefruit, and lychee. On the palate, nutty notes join those of meadow herbs. The Oliver Zeter Pinot Gris estate wine from the Palatinate is juicy and full-bodied with a delicate creaminess. Thus, it is a good food companion but also delightful on its own!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eOliver Zeter – Winemaking\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOptimal exclusion of oxygen during pressing reduced unwanted oxidation and the associated loss of aromas. The fresh must clarified itself through natural sedimentation. The subsequent fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks at approx. 18° C and proceeded very slowly to preserve the fruit. A portion of the total volume was spontaneously fermented in wooden barrels.
