The wine impresses with its elegant yet full-bodied style. On the palate, it shows a certain creaminess and beautiful minerality.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eWeingut Pflüger – Wine Preparation\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe old Pinot Noir vines for this Pflüger wine grow in organically farmed vineyards in the Dürkheim Fronhof site. As a vineyard beginning directly at the edge of the town, it is one of the oldest vineyard sites in the Mittelhaardt region.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe heavily reduced yields are a maximum of 45hl\/ha. In order to harvest ripe grapes in autumn, winemaker Alexander Pflüger has been working according to biodynamic principles since 2008, refraining from artificial fertilizers, herbicides and insecticides, following the course of the seasons and the moon, and working as close to nature as possible. Weingut Pflüger is Demeter certified. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe grapes are hand-picked, often in several passes. In the winery's pressing house, located opposite the saltworks in Bad Dürkheim, the grapes are gently processed. The mash is pressed with gentle pressure and the must is spontaneously fermented.
