What they all have in common is the quartzite stone soil underground, which brings a fine salty minerality to the wine. To harvest ripe grapes in autumn, winemaker Alexander Pflüger has been working according to biodynamic principles since 2008, refraining from artificial fertilizers, as well as herbicides and insecticides, following the course of the seasons and the moon, and working as close to nature as possible. In the winery's press house, which is located opposite the salt works in Bad Dürkheim, the grapes are gently processed. The mash is pressed with gentle pressure and the must is spontaneously fermented.
