As the little sister of the Supersec brand, which offers high-quality dried mushrooms, seaweed, and fruits, Superbon's full attention was on potato chips. But not just any chips. They had to be the best, completely free of flavor enhancers, artificial colors, and preservatives, yet deliver on taste. In the vibrant trendy district of La Chueca in central Madrid, also known as the chip capital, the Belgian Philippe found the del Pozo family's company, which has been producing delicious chips from fresh, Spanish potatoes for generations. There, the thinly sliced potatoes are crisply fried in good sunflower oil and, while still warm, sprinkled with Herbes Cretoises, Cretan herbs such as savory, thyme, rosemary, saffron, pepper, ginger, coriander, fennel, dill, mint, and oregano, before being packed into stylish bags featuring the Spanish bull.
