Zerozzante Alcohol-Free – Cuvée No.3 – Red Wild Apple
The Raumland Apple Secco alcohol-free has a new look and a new name: Zerozzante Cuvée No.3 Red Wild Apple. Best ingredients. Sparkling. Unique. For years, this wonderfully fruity apple Secco made from red-fleshed wild apples has been a great alternative to alcohol-free sparkling wine.
The Zerozzante Cuvée No.3 is wonderfully suited as an alcohol-free aperitif. As an alcohol-free accompaniment to meals, it pairs well with fish and poultry, light meats, or fruity desserts. With its sparkling, subtly tart acidity and fruity lightness, it is also a special drinking experience on its own.
Alcohol-free sparkling wine alternative – Raumland Zerozzante
Volker Raumland is one of the best German sparkling wine producers. When he decided to create an alcohol-free sparkling wine alternative, originally for his two daughters Katharina and Marie Luise, it was clear that the Raumland Apple Secco would not be a simple juice spritzer, but an alcohol-free Secco of exceptional quality with a fine, long-lasting perlage, as one would expect from sparkling wines. This is precisely what distinguishes the red Raumland Apple Secco. It has a fruity aroma of apricot and an intense aroma of red apple. In the glass, it glows light red and shows its fine bubbles. On the palate, the Zerozzante Cuvée No.3 is juicy and pleasantly sweet with excellent acidity. This great acidity makes it appear somewhat drier than the white grape Secco. The crisp Raumland red apple Secco alcohol-free is a great alternative for those who cannot consume alcohol or simply want to toast alcohol-free.
The Raumland daughters have grown up and now work side by side with their father Volker Raumland. They still enjoy drinking the fruit Secco. But the children's Secco also needed to grow up, so what could be more natural than giving it a new look and a new name? Here it is: the Zerozzante!
The alcohol-free fruit Secco from Raumland
The Raumland family sources the red wild apples for the Zerozzante Cuvée No.3 from a friendly fruit farmer in the region. This old, red-fleshed apple variety is not suitable as a table apple due to its high acidity, but it is perfect for producing an alcohol-free Secco. Volker Raumland deliberately refrains from pasteurizing the apple juice. While this would make the Secco even more shelf-stable, it would primarily reduce the complexity of the aromas. Therefore, the quality of the apples is even more important; only the best and undamaged ones go into the press. The heavily chilled juice is then refined with grape juice and carbonated. This process is carried out with extreme precision. This gentle method guarantees the special taste of the Raumland Apple Secco, Zerozzante Cuvée No.3.
Since the juice in the apple Secco does not undergo alcoholic fermentation and the Secco is not a de-alcoholized, alcohol-free sparkling wine, the Raumland Secco contains no residual alcohol whatsoever.
