Lusvardi Lambrusco IGP: Tradition meets innovation
Discover the world of Lusvardi and their IGP Lambrusco wines: Lusvardi is a small family winery that has been producing Lambrusco for three generations in Molino di Gazzata in Emilia-Romagna, Italy. Since 2014, Andrea and Rita Covezzi have been farming their approximately 7 hectares of vineyards with organic certification. They use organic fertilizers, aerate the soil through cover cropping, and deliberately avoid synthetic pesticides.
Through a great deal of manual labor in the vineyard with vines that are around 30 years old, the hand-harvesting of the indigenous Lambrusco Salamino, Lambrusco Grasparossa, and Spergola grape varieties, as well as careful work in the cellar, high-quality Lambrusco wines are created that combine the heritage of Emilia-Romagna with modern viticultural practices. Located in the province of Reggio Emilia, the Lusvardi winery stands for authentic, organically certified wines produced with the greatest care and passion. Here, tradition meets innovation.
Lambrusco wines from Lusvardi: a feast for the senses
Lambrusco is available in red, white, or rosé varieties; all share fruitiness and a fine perlage. The effervescence is created either via the Charmat method in a pressurized tank or the Méthode Ancestrale, which is used for natural wines—also known as Pet Nat—and is usually sealed with a crown cap instead of a sparkling wine cork and wire cage. Experience the variety and elegance of Lusvardi IGP Lambrusco wines. Whether you prefer a fresh, lively Brut or want to enjoy the delicate aromas of a rosé, you will find the perfect Lambrusco for every occasion with us.
