Mayonnaise from the Jean Bâton workshop
Jean Bâton makes mayonnaise with the care of a chef. Special varieties are created in a small workshop in Udenhout, ranging from the Belgian recipe to a version with real black truffle.
Jean Bâton stands for mayonnaise from the Netherlands, named after Jan Stok, who was responsible for cold sauces on Holland America Line ships starting in 1950. His French colleagues dubbed him "Jean Bâton." In 2013, his youngest son Bart took up the idea and has been releasing a line of special mayonnaises ever since.
Belgian mayonnaise and black truffle
We carry two varieties: the Mayonnaise Belgian Recipe, creamy and savory in the Belgian style, and the Mayonnaise Black Truffle with real summer truffle. Both come in a 245 ml jar from the workshop in Udenhout.
