Anette Closheim - with a big heart for wine
Anette Closheim comes from a winemaking family with a winery in Langenlonsheim on the Nahe river. Nevertheless, her path to becoming a winemaker was not predetermined. After her studies, she first worked as a product manager for a spirits manufacturer, but then, about 10 years ago, she was drawn back home. Her father gave her vineyards to experiment with. Anette Closheim has since taken over the winery and the associated 10 hectares of vineyards, and success proves her right: the wine assortment has been streamlined, and quality increased. The winemaker quickly made a name for herself with puristic wines and modern labels, with female power and a big heart for wine.
