Porthos canned fish has been produced by Conservas Portugal Norte, near the northern Portuguese port city of Porto, since 1912. Porthos stands for canned fish of the highest quality. The beautifully printed tins feature a seafarer from the age of colonization, symbolizing Portugal's golden age.

Porthos – Sardines in Oil and Tuna

For over 100 years, Porthos has represented the fusion of tradition and modernity, combining expert knowledge in the artisanal production of canned fish with the application of new technologies that enable a more gentle production process. Classic recipes, such as sardines in oil or sardines in tomato sauce, captivate with their simplicity as well as the excellent quality of the basic ingredients, such as freshly caught tuna or sardines.
