Anko – artisan preserves
Since 1959, Anko Conservas Artesanas has been artisanally producing canned vegetables and vegetable soups in Careita, in the heart of Spain’s Navarra region. Founder Benito Prat and his family, with great love for their homeland and for a wide variety of vegetables, select the best raw materials of excellent quality. These are processed using traditional methods, but with modern production techniques and high food safety standards in the factory newly built in 2016, into delicious canned vegetables and vegetable soups that are completely free of preservatives and colorants. Due to its artisanal processing, Anko is permitted to carry the “Alimentos Artesanos” seal, which the regional government of Navarra awards to promote and protect craftsmanship in the food sector.
