Let's discover the Manincor Winery together
With around 50 hectares of vineyards, the Manincor Winery is one of the larger wineries in South Tyrol. The Manincor estate, where Count Michael Goëss-Enzenberg has lived with his wife Countess Sophie and their three daughters since 1991, is located in Kaltern, in the St. Josef district not far from Lake Kaltern.
While some of the winery's historic buildings date back to 1608, the cellar vaults from 2004 are ultra-modern. The almost invisible cellar under the vineyard, which sets architectural standards, offers 3,000 square meters of space for winemaking. The cellar's design provides ideal conditions for processing grapes, which as grapes, mash, must, or wine move purely by gravity over three floors downwards. The newly built vinotheque also offers a fabulous view of the vineyards and the picturesque landscape of South Tyrol.
Manincor Winery South Tyrol: Biodynamics and Respect
The Manincor Winery combines traditional viticulture with biodynamic management. This philosophy reflects the passion for quality and respect for nature. Strengthening healthy soils through natural methods promotes the resilience of the vines, which are carefully and sustainably cultivated by hand. In addition to Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Goldmuskateller, and Viognier, Lagrein, Vernatsch, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Petit Verdot, as well as a few rows of PIWIs, are grown here. Cellar master Helmuth Zozin works hand in hand with Count Michael Goëss-Enzenberg, who is himself a qualified oenologist, in the vineyards and cellar, creating wines of exceptional quality and character. Discover these unique wines, such as the white wine Cuvée Sophie, the single-vineyard Sauvignon Blanc Lieben Aich and Tannenberg, the red wine Cassiano, the top Cuvée Mason di Mason, or the La Rosé de Manincor.
