Discover the fragrant Manincor La Manina 2023 – biodynamic pleasure from South Tyrol

The Manincor La Manina 2023 presents itself as a fascinating white wine cuvée from South Tyrol. This dynamic and lively white wine embodies young, modern drinking pleasure. The perfect balance of physiological ripeness, sugar content and acidity ensures a harmonious taste experience. The cuvée consists of 43% Pinot Blanc, 36% Chardonnay and 21% Sauvignon Blanc, which produce a bright, yellowish-green color and aromas of quince, lychee and pink grapefruit in combination with fresh herbal notes such as sage and mint, offering a fresh, invigorating drinking experience.

A white wine cuvée that brings drinking pleasure

Harmony and Challenge: The 2023 vintage was challenging, marked by fluctuating weather conditions ranging from a wet spring to a hot and dry summer. Despite these difficulties, the grapes achieved perfect ripeness, which is reflected in the balanced combination of physiological ripeness, sugar and acidity. The wine is characterized by ripe fruit aromas and a moderate alcohol content, making it an ideal companion for relaxed moments.

Terroir and Vinification: The grapes for La Manina come from both younger vineyards of the winery in Mareit and from biodynamically working and certified organic suppliers. The careful handling of the grapes, the six-hour maceration of the destemmed grapes, and the natural fermentation in oak and stainless steel tanks, partly with wild yeasts, highlight the authentic aromas. The wine matures for six months on its fine lees, which gives it complexity and depth.

Focus on Sustainability: La Manina is not only a delight for the palate, but is also produced biodynamically and vegan according to the strict Respekt-BIODYN guidelines. This emphasizes the character of the terroir and promotes sustainability and biodiversity. This reflects the philosophy of the Manincor winery, which is committed to sustainable and environmentally friendly wine production.

Enjoyment and Shelf Life: La Manina is ready to drink immediately, presents itself in a bright yellow with greenish reflections and develops aromas of quince, lychee and pink grapefruit, complemented by fresh herbal notes of sage and mint. The wine is light and offers an irresistible drinkability, ideal for enjoying as an aperitif or in combination with light appetizers, fish or vegetarian dishes. The recommended serving temperature is between 8 and 10 degrees Celsius, ideal for fully developing the fine aromas. The Manincor La Manina 2023 shows good aging potential until at least 2027.
