Manincor Eichhorn Pinot Bianco 2023 – Alpine-Mediterranean White Wine Enjoyment

The Manincor Eichhorn Pinot Bianco 2023 - a Pinot Blanc from South Tyrol - captivates with a brilliant yellow in the glass and seduces with aromas of ripe apple and white flowers. On the palate, it presents itself juicy with a lively, mineral acidity and a long-lasting fruity finish.

Why you should enjoy a glass of Eichhorn Pinot Bianco:

  • Fruity aromas: Notes of ripe apple and delicate white flowers.
  • Mineral freshness: Hints of wet limestone provide depth.
  • Long-lasting finish: A sustained fruit experience that delights.

Origin and Terroir

The grapes for this Pinot Blanc come from the Lieben Aich site in Terlano, specifically from the Eichhorn vineyard. This southwest-facing slope at 300 meters above sea level is characterized by a mild, airy microclimate and well-draining, sandy loam soils on porphyry weathering rock. These special conditions lend the wine its unique alpine-Mediterranean character.

Vinification and Aging

After careful hand-harvesting, the destemmed grape berries were macerated in the press for eight hours to extract aromas and structure from the grape skins. Fermentation took place spontaneously with natural yeasts in wooden barrels. The wine then matured for nine months on its fine lees, which led to a refinement of aroma and taste.

Serving Suggestion

The Eichhorn Pinot Bianco 2023 pairs excellently with delicate fish dishes, shellfish and crustaceans, and vegetarian dishes. It is particularly well suited to aromatic cheese. For optimal enjoyment, it is recommended to serve the wine at a temperature of 8 to 10 °C and to decant it when young.

Manincor – Wine Culture and Sustainability

The Manincor winery cultivates approximately 50 hectares of vineyards around the estate on Lake Caldaro, focusing on biodynamic cultivation and has been fully biodynamically certified since 2009. This underscores its endeavor to produce high-quality grapes and transform them into excellent wines in the unmistakable Manincor style. The estate pursues the philosophy of creating wines with elegance, finesse, and an impressive structure.

Let yourself be seduced by the unique combination of tradition, craftsmanship, and love for nature inherent in every bottle of Eichhorn. Experience festive occasions anew with every sip of this elegant white wine.

Experience alpine-Mediterranean wine enjoyment with Manincor Eichhorn Pinot Bianco 2023 – a white wine with aromas of ripe apple and white flowers, lively acidity, and a long finish.

The Manincor Eichhorn Pinot Bianco 2023 combines fruity aromas of ripe apple and white flowers with a lively, mineral acidity for a long-lasting taste experience.
