Exquisite Elegance and Fruitiness: La Rosé de Manincor 2024

An invitation to pure joie de vivre: The La Rosé de Manincor 2024 from the Manincor winery in South Tyrol captures the essence of a perfect summer day with its brilliant salmon hue. Experience a juicy and creamy mouthfeel with excellent length and a mineral-fruity finish. This organic rosé wine, carefully composed from a selection of exquisite grapes including Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Pinot Noir, embodies the dedication and passion of the Manincor winery in South Tyrol with every sip.

A Rosé Wine that Inspires Enthusiasm

Harmony and Challenge: The immense pressure from downy and powdery mildew due to the rainy months of May, June, and July was successfully contained thanks to biodynamic farming methods and years of experience. Short, hot phases in July and August transitioned seamlessly into a harvest of healthy grapes in beautiful autumn weather. The result is a South Tyrolean wine with verve, tension, crisp acidity, and moderate alcohol.

Winemaking and Terroir: The Manincor La Rosé de Manincor is made from the best red wine batches of the winery through careful vinification using the saignée method with 6-12 hours of skin contact, partial spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, and subsequent 5 months of aging in oak barrels on fine lees, which give this rosé its characteristic, creamy texture and depth, complemented by a bouquet reminiscent of raspberries and cherries.

Gastronomic Recommendations: This rosé is an excellent accompaniment to spicy appetizers, pan-fried or smoked fish, as well as white and grilled meat dishes. The recommended serving temperature is lightly chilled, but not cold, between 8 and 10 degrees Celsius.

Why this South Tyrolean wine promises enjoyment for all senses

  • Variety of grape varieties: With a composition of 30% Merlot, 36% Cabernet Franc, 21% Pinot Noir, and other noble varieties, this wine offers a unique diversity of flavors.
  • Versatile and seductive: With its balanced profile of fruit, creaminess, and a delicate mineral-fruity finish, La Rosé de Manincor is an ideal companion for a variety of dishes, from spiced appetizers to pan-fried fish and white meat.
  • Perfect ripeness: Thanks to an ideal balance of physiological ripeness, sugar content, and acidity in the 2024 vintage, this rosé is characterized by ripe fruit, a cool character, and moderate alcohol content.
  • Biodynamic quality: Fully biodynamically certified, this wine embodies the winery's commitment to sustainable cultivation and production methods, with a focus on the natural expression of the terroir.
  • Sustainability as a principle: The wine embodies Manincor's biodynamic philosophy, reflected in its vegan certification and the Respekt-BIODYN seal, a testament to harmony with nature.
