The Prisecco Cuvée No. 29 from Manufaktur Jörg Geiger is a balanced combination of apple, pear, and rose hip pulp. Non-alcoholic and sparkling, organic and vegan, pleasantly dry yet wonderfully fruity, it makes a good alternative to sparkling wine as an aperitif or wine as a meal accompaniment when well chilled.

Prisecco Cuvée No. 29 – Apple, Pear, and Rose Hip

The base for this Cuvée No. 29 by Jörg Geiger is the juice of apples, pears from traditional orchards, rosehip pulp, and various herbs.

Many orchards are located on steep slopes. Wild roses with their thorns are spurned by sheep, so the rose hips remain on the bushes until winter. The production of rose hip pulp is also a traditional specialty of our region – here now with rosehip in liquid form.

This non-alcoholic cocktail captivates with its delicate rose-apple scent, reminiscent of perfectly ripe peaches, honey, exotic fruits like mango, papaya, refined with vanilla. The taste is full of ripe fruit, rich and soft with a fine rose aroma and peach flavor.

The Prisecco Cuvée No. 29 is a wonderful autumnal aperitif and an ideal companion to venison or wild poultry, as well as autumnal desserts with seasonal fruits, vanilla cream, or crème brûlée.

The PriSecco Cuvée No. 29 is only available for a limited time, as it is bottled, like all Prisecco Cuvées, depending on the seasonally available ingredients.

Non-alcoholic – from Manufaktur Jörg Geiger

The PriSecco is the best-selling specialty of Manufaktur Jörg Geiger. Sophisticated and balanced, all Prisecco varieties surprise with enormous complexity. The absence of alcohol is not felt as a deficit; quite the opposite. PriSecco fills a gap for new, modern non-alcoholic drinks based on old fruit varieties. The old apple and perry pear varieties come from the landscape-defining traditional orchards along the bird sanctuary at the foot of the Swabian Alb – hand-picked, ripened, and gently processed in Jörg Geiger's manufactory, which has received several awards (including from Slow Food) for its juices. Thanks to their distinct aroma, with the unique acidity of old apple varieties and the pronounced tannin note of the pear, these juices form a very special, natural base for Geiger's Prisecco varieties.

We have known Jörg Geiger, the owner of Manufaktur Geiger, personally for many years. The Prisecco manufactory is located in Schlat near Göppingen, where I myself lived for several years. Jörg Geiger started producing non-alcoholic fruit-based cocktails more as a hobby. In the meantime, he has acquired a great deal of knowledge about the preparation of this non-alcoholic specialty, about old fruit varieties, and the use of herbs. In addition to fine dining establishments, where his Prisecco is gladly served as a non-alcoholic aperitif and as a meal accompaniment, more and more people are enjoying their favorite Prisecco at home.
