The Prisecco Cuvée No. 9 from the Jörg Geiger Manufactory is an alcohol-free Prisecco with an excitingly lush aroma of pear and grape juice and fresh notes of white flowers from the Jörg Geiger Manufactory. Cuvée No. 9 – Kerner, Müller-Thurgau and Portugieser

The basis for this Cuvée No. 9 by Jörg Geiger are old apple and pear varieties from traditional orchards and grapes of the Müller-Thurgau, Kerner, and Portugieser varieties. This PriSecco has been refined with various spices and flowers, such as Schisandra berries and jasmine blossoms. It captivates with its excitingly lush grape fruit on the nose, with hints of fresh white blossoms and nutty components of hazelnuts and leaves. The taste reveals a balanced interplay of pear-fruity sweetness and mild sparkling acidity. The long, multifaceted finish is underscored by subtly tart notes.

The Prisecco Cuvée No. 9 is highly recommended with Asian cuisine, sushi, sashimi, etc., appetizers with leafy salads and cream cheese, as well as rhubarb and berry-fruity desserts or baked goods.

Alcohol-free Prisecco – from the Jörg Geiger Manufactory

PriSecco is the best-selling specialty of the Jörg Geiger Manufactory. Sophisticated and balanced, all Prisecco varieties surprise with enormous complexity. The absence of alcohol is not perceived as a deficiency; quite the opposite. PriSecco fills a gap for new, modernly conceived alcohol-free beverages based on old fruit varieties. The old apple and perry pear varieties come from the landscape-defining traditional orchards along the bird sanctuary at the foot of the Swabian Alb – hand-picked, ripened, and gently processed in Jörg Geiger's manufactory, who has received several awards for his juices (including from Slow Food). Thanks to their distinct aroma, with the unique acidity of old apple varieties and the pronounced tannin notes of pear, these juices form a very special, natural basis for Geiger's Prisecco varieties.

We have known Jörg Geiger, the owner of the Geiger Manufactory, personally for many years. The Prisecco manufactory is located in Schlat near Göppingen, where I myself lived for several years. Jörg Geiger started making alcohol-free fruit-based cocktails more as a hobby. Since then, he has acquired a great deal of knowledge about the preparation of this alcohol-free specialty, about old fruit varieties, and the use of herbs. In addition to top gastronomy, where his Prisecco is often served as an alcohol-free aperitif and food accompaniment, more and more people are enjoying their favorite Prisecco at home.
