Eva Solo – Nordic Kitchen - Danish Design
Eva Solo A/S was founded over 100 years ago by Kai Rohde Fog and is now a defining influence on the Eva Solo Nordic Kitchen style. In 1939, the company was handed over to his son Erik Mangor, who launched the successful citrus press. Today, the family business, dedicated to Danish Design, is run by the fourth generation, including Jan Engelbrecht, whose maternal grandfather named the company after his daughter Eva in 1950. However, the name Eva Solo only emerged in 2010 after the continued success of a small series of kitchen utensils, the so-called Solo goods.
Eva Solo – functional Danish design
The modern design brand, with around 60 employees and based in the small Danish town of Måløv, northwest of Copenhagen, collaborates with renowned Danish designers such as Ole Palsby, who developed the unique Eva Trio pot and pan series in the 1970s, the design studio tools design, and furniture designer Thomas Pedersen. Eva Solo has received more than 200 internationally recognized design awards over the years, including the iF Product Design Award, Good Design Award, and Red Dot Design Award.
Eva Solo's goal has always been to produce everyday objects through functional design of the highest quality and to make them better than what was already on the market. Among the most popular Eva Solo products are:
