The Casa Cubista Ceramic Vase is a flower vase from Portugal, hand-painted with wide blue and white stripes. This beautiful terracotta vase, made from high-quality stoneware, is handcrafted and glazed for Casa Cubista in Portugal. Due to its curved shape, this vase style is also known as a gourd vase.

With a diameter of approximately 12cm and a height of approximately 23cm, it's a good size for a lush bouquet. But it also looks wonderfully decorative "empty," as the blue of the vase recalls the blue of the Algarve sky. What we particularly like about the Casa Cubista collection is that the different patterns (bold stripe, dash, and ray), colors (black, tangerine, terracotta, teal, blue, and green), and sizes can be wonderfully combined. Mix and match – try it out!

Care instructions: Before first use, please wash the ceramic vase by hand with hot soapy water, rinse with clear water, and allow to air dry. The bottom of jugs, mugs, and vases may sweat initially. This is normal and will decrease over time. Please protect delicate surfaces that may be affected by watermarks. If you fill a vase or jug with fresh flowers, please change the water daily. This will prevent the smell of flower water from being absorbed into the terracotta.

Casa Cubista was founded about ten years ago by David Pimentel and his friend Arrens in Olhão, Algarve. David has Portuguese roots and wanted to bring good craftsmanship from his home country to tables in other countries. Because sitting at a set table with family or friends is pure joy of life. With its beautiful ceramics, Casa Cubista brings the love of beautiful things into your everyday life.

The Casa Cubista ceramic tableware is produced according to David's designs in a family-run manufactory in the Algarve. Each vase is made on the potter's wheel and handled, thrown, sanded, and individually glazed with these great colors, which are food-safe and free of harmful chemicals, by Rui, whose family has mastered the craft of pottery for over 200 years, including his aunt Regina. To preserve the luster of the glaze, we recommend washing the ceramic vase by hand. Each bowl is unique. Small imperfections in the glaze are normal and intentional. Thus, every vase always looks a little different. Casa Cubista ceramics are truly handmade.
