Casa Cubista – Ceramic Pitcher 1l – bold stripes tangerine

The Casa Cubista Ceramic Pitcher is a beautiful carafe with broad, yellow stripes and a one-liter capacity. This both beautiful and practical terracotta pitcher with handle is made of high-quality stoneware, handcrafted and glazed in Portugal for Casa Cubista. In the past, before glass became a mass-produced item, it was customary to serve drinks in ceramic vessels. Today, you can serve both cold and hot drinks in this ceramic pitcher with handle. It also makes an excellent decorative piece or vase.

Yellow stripes on a 16-centimeter-high body make this pitcher the brightest piece on the table, while black or blue accents bring it back into balance. Mix and match – give it a try!

Care instructions: Please wash the pitcher by hand with hot soapy water before first use, rinse with clear water, and let air dry. The bottom of pitchers, cups, and vases may sweat initially. This is normal and will decrease over time. Please protect sensitive surfaces that may be affected by water marks. If you use a vase or pitcher for fresh flowers, please change the water daily. This prevents the scent of flower water from soaking into the terracotta.

Casa Cubista – Ceramic Pitcher from Portugal

Casa Cubista was founded about ten years ago by David Pimentel and his friend Arrens in Olhão in the Algarve. David has Portuguese roots and wanted to bring high-quality craftsmanship from his home country to the tables of other nations. After all, sitting at a set table with family or friends is pure joy. With his beautiful pitchers, Casa Cubista brings a love for beautiful things into your everyday life.

Casa Cubista ceramic tableware is produced according to David's designs in a family-run workshop in the Algarve. Even if not every bowl is made on a pottery wheel, it is handled, cast, sanded, and individually glazed by people like Rui, whose family has mastered the pottery craft for over 200 years, with the help of his aunt Regina. The glazes, which are food-safe and free of harmful chemicals, are applied by hand. The yellow glaze retains its shine when the one-liter pitcher is washed by hand, whether it has held drinks or flowers. Each pitcher is unique. Small irregularities in the glaze are normal and intentional. This way, every bowl, every plate, and every pitcher looks a little bit different. Casa Cubista ceramics are truly handcrafted.
