Ceramic pitcher 2l – bold stripes tangerine

Casa Cubista – Ceramic Pitcher 2l – bold stripes tangerine

The large Casa Cubista ceramic pitcher is a beautiful carafe with wide yellow stripes and a two-liter capacity. Both beautiful and practical, this terracotta pitcher with a handle is made of high-quality stoneware, handcrafted and glazed in Portugal for Casa Cubista. In the past, before glass became a mass-produced commodity, it was common to serve drinks in ceramic vessels. Today, you can serve both cold and hot drinks in this ceramic pitcher with a handle. It also makes an excellent decorative piece or vase.

Yellow sets the tone, with dash and ray on the plates picking it up – the collection is designed so that patterns and sizes complement one another. Mix and match – give it a try!

Care instructions: Before first use, please wash the pitcher by hand with hot soapy water, rinse with clear water, and allow to air dry. The bottom of pitchers, mugs, and vases may sweat initially. This is normal and will decrease over time. Please protect delicate surfaces that may be affected by water marks. If you use a vase or pitcher for fresh flowers, please change the water daily. This prevents the smell of flower water from soaking into the terracotta.

Casa Cubista – Ceramic Pitcher from Portugal

Casa Cubista was founded about ten years ago by David Pimentel and his friend Arrens in Olhão in the Algarve. David has Portuguese roots and wanted to bring quality craftsmanship from his home country to tables in other countries, because sitting at a set table with family or friends is pure joy. With his beautiful pitchers, Casa Cubista brings a love for beautiful things into your everyday life.

Casa Cubista ceramic tableware is produced according to David's designs in a family-run workshop in the Algarve. Even if not every bowl is made on a pottery wheel, it is still handled, cast, sanded, and individually glazed—using these great colors, which are food-safe and free of harmful chemicals—by Rui, whose family has mastered the pottery craft for over 200 years, and his aunt Regina among others. Hand washing preserves the shine of the yellow stripes, which have plenty of surface area to glow over the 19-centimeter height. Each pitcher is unique. Small irregularities in the glaze are normal and intentional. This is why every bowl, every plate, and every pitcher always looks a little different. Casa Cubista ceramics are, after all, genuine handmade items.
