The large Casa Cubista ceramic jug is a beautiful carafe with wide, terracotta stripes and a two-liter capacity. Both beautiful and practical, this terracotta jug with a handle, made from high-quality stoneware, is handcrafted and glazed for Casa Cubista in Portugal. In the past, before glass became a mass-produced item, it was common to serve drinks in ceramic vessels. Today, you can serve both cold and hot drinks in this ceramic jug with a handle. But the terracotta jug also makes an excellent decorative piece or vase.

What we particularly like about the Casa Cubista collection is that the different patterns (bold stripe, dash, and ray), colors (black, tangerine, terracotta, teal, blue, and green), and sizes can be wonderfully combined. Mix and match – try it out!

Care instructions: Before first use, please wash the jug by hand with hot soapy water, rinse with clear water, and let it air dry. The bottom of jugs, cups, and vases may "sweat" initially. This is normal and will decrease over time. Please protect delicate surfaces that may be affected by watermarks. If you fill a vase or jug with fresh flowers, please change the water daily. This prevents the smell of flower water from being absorbed into the terracotta.

Casa Cubista was founded about ten years ago by David Pimentel and his friend Arrens in Olhão, Algarve. David has Portuguese roots and wanted to bring good craftsmanship from his homeland to the tables of other countries. Because sitting at a set table with family or friends is pure joy of life. With its beautiful jugs, Casa Cubista brings the love of beautiful things into your everyday life.

The Casa Cubista ceramic tableware is produced according to David's designs in a family-run manufactory in the Algarve. Even if not every bowl is made on the potter's wheel, it is still handled, cast, sanded, and individually glazed by Rui, whose family has mastered the pottery craft for over 200 years, with these great colors, which are food-safe and free of harmful chemicals, by his aunt Regina, among others. To preserve the shine of the glaze, we recommend washing the jug by hand. Each jug is unique. Small irregularities in the glaze are normal and intentional. Thus, every bowl, every plate, every jug always looks a little different. Casa Cubista ceramics are indeed true handicrafts.
