Ceramic jug 2l – bold stripes teal

Casa Cubista – Ceramic Pitcher 2l – bold stripes teal

The large Casa Cubista ceramic pitcher is a beautiful carafe with wide, teal stripes and a two-liter capacity. Both beautiful and practical, this terracotta pitcher with handle is made of high-quality stoneware and is handcrafted and glazed in Portugal for Casa Cubista. In the past, before glass became a mass-produced item, it was common to serve drinks in ceramic vessels. Today, you can serve both cold and hot drinks in this ceramic pitcher with a handle. It also makes an excellent decorative piece or vase.

Teal stripes on the large pitcher and black rays on the plates create a table setting that remains organized despite featuring two patterns. Mix and match – give it a try!

Care instructions: Please wash the pitcher by hand with hot soapy water before first use, rinse with clear water, and let it air dry. The base of pitchers, mugs, and vases may sweat initially. This is normal and will decrease over time. Please protect sensitive surfaces that may be affected by water marks. If you are using a vase or pitcher for fresh flowers, please change the water daily. This prevents the smell of flower water from soaking into the terracotta.

Casa Cubista – Ceramic pitcher from Portugal

Casa Cubista was founded about ten years ago by David Pimentel and his friend Arrens in Olhão in the Algarve. David has Portuguese roots and wanted to bring good craftsmanship from his home country to tables in other countries as well. Sitting at a set table with family or friends is pure joy. With his beautiful pitchers, Casa Cubista brings a love for beautiful things into your everyday life.

Casa Cubista ceramic tableware is produced according to David's designs in a family-run factory in the Algarve. Even if not every bowl is made on a potter's wheel, it is still handled, poured, sanded, and individually glazed by Rui—whose family has mastered the craft of pottery for over 200 years—and his aunt Regina, among others, using these great colors, which are food-safe and free of harmful chemicals. The large pitcher with the teal stripes should be washed by hand to preserve the shine of the glaze. Each pitcher is unique. Small irregularities in the glaze are normal and intentional. This is why every bowl, every plate, and every pitcher always looks a little bit different. Casa Cubista ceramics are truly handcrafted.
