We are delighted to represent Klippan Yllefabrik, another Swedish family business with a long tradition. Since its founding, Klippan Yllefabrik from Sweden has remained true to its philosophy, combining Swedish design with the knowledge passed down over five generations regarding wool, its processing, and the production of wool blankets and other home textiles. It all began in 1879 when Jöns Petter Magnusson took over a small wool spinning mill in the center of the town of Klippan, 70km north of Malmö, in the Swedish province of Skåne. Initially, the focus was on producing hand-spun yarns for the furniture industry. In the 1970s, Klippan Yllefabrik, with around 100 employees, was considered Scandinavia's most modern wool spinning mill. Times changed, and the survival of textile companies in Europe became increasingly difficult. However, in the early 1990s, Klippan Yllefabrik found its niche in the production of home and kitchen textiles, particularly lamb wool blankets, and has successfully occupied it ever since.

After selecting the best raw materials, the raw fibers are spun, dyed, and woven in their own spinning and weaving mill in neighboring Latvia. Thus, all production steps from the wool to the finished wool blanket are in Klippan Yllefabrik's own hands.
