The Zerozzante Cuvée No.2 is wonderful as a non-alcoholic aperitif. As a non-alcoholic food accompaniment, it pairs well with fish and poultry, white meat or fruity desserts. Volker Raumland is one of the best German sparkling wine makers. When he decided, originally for his two daughters Katharina and Marie Luise, to create a non-alcoholic sparkling wine alternative, it was clear that the Raumland grape secco would not be a simple juice spritzer, but a non-alcoholic secco of special quality with a fine, long-lasting perlage, as is expected from sparkling wines. This is exactly what distinguishes the red Raumland grape secco. It has a fruity aroma of yellow apple, peach and a hint of nutmeg. In the glass, it shines pale yellow and shows its fine bubbles. On the palate, it is juicy and pleasantly sweet with a great acidity. The crisp Raumland non-alcoholic grape secco is a great alternative for those who are not allowed to drink alcohol or simply want to toast non-alcoholic. The Raumland daughters have grown up and now work side by side with their father Volker Raumland. They still enjoy drinking the fruit secco. But the children's secco also had to grow up, so what was more obvious than giving it a new look and a new name? Here it is: the Zerozzante!

The non-alcoholic Zerozzante – Fruit Secco from Raumland

The Bacchus grapes for the Zerozzante Cuvée No.2 come from their own vineyards or from those of friendly winemakers in the region. The seccos are made from the juice of the taille pressing, which is not used for the prestige sparkling wines. The strongly chilled grape juice is then carbonated and bottled. Extreme cleanliness is maintained during this process. Volker Raumland deliberately avoids pasteurizing the grape juice. While this would make the Zerozzante (even) more durable, it would primarily reduce the complexity of the aromas. This makes the quality of the grapes all the more important; only the best and undamaged ones go into the press. This gentle process guarantees the special taste of the Raumland grape secco. The Zerozzante Cuvée No.2 red grapes taste somewhat tarter than the white grape secco and somewhat sweeter than the Raumland apple secco.

Since the juice in Zerozzante Cuvée No.2 does not undergo alcoholic fermentation and the secco is not a dealcoholized, non-alcoholic sparkling wine, the Raumland secco also contains no residual alcohol.
