Costa Nova Grespresso — Espresso and Lungo Cups

Costa Nova Grespresso are beautiful espresso and lungo cups for the perfect coffee moment. Costa Nova is a family business from Portugal that has long been known beyond its borders for its exceptionally high-quality ceramic tableware.

If you love Portugal as much as we do, you've probably eaten from a Costa Nova plate during a restaurant visit in the Algarve, Lisbon or Porto. But perhaps you also know the picturesque village with its colorful wooden houses, the palheiros, right on the Atlantic in northern Portugal, where Praia da Costa Nova do Prato with its roaring surf and monster waves attracts surfers and onlookers. This is the home of the Costa Nova manufactory, and it is precisely these ocean waves and their energy that inspired the espresso and lungo cups of the Grespresso collection.

Costa Nova — Grespresso for much more than just coffee

The great colors and the unique color gradient of the glaze simply bring great joy and make your daily coffee enjoyment even more beautiful. The cups not only look enchanting but also feel good in your hand. The ceramic is durable and long-lasting and is available in 11 great colors, from a light cream and a bright turquoise to an elegant black.

Of course, you can drink more than just coffee from the Costa Nova Grespresso Cups; tea, cocoa, or other hot drinks also taste great from these cups. Small desserts, ice cream, dips, or appetizers can also be served in them, or you can use them as a small flower pot. You'll see, these cups will soon be a beloved decorative item in your home.

Why Grespresso is the perfect coffee cup

In the past, we only had coffee on Sundays, freshly brewed from the Melitta filter. Today, espresso, the Milanese method of coffee preparation using an portafilter machine, has also become part of our lives. To enjoy espresso in style, you need the right cup. The Costa Nova Grespresso Espresso Cups are ideal for the little black one, because they are thick-walled enough so that the espresso does not cool down too quickly and thin-walled enough for a pleasant mouthfeel. The Grespresso cup is slightly wider at the top than at the bottom, which is crucial for the formation of a beautiful crema. And because coffee is always a small break, a moment to pause and a time of enjoyment, the haptic feeling of how a cup lies in your hand is the reason why I reach for it and no other. The Costa Nova Grespresso Espresso Cup is the perfect coffee cup for us.
