Domori stands for iconic chocolate from Italy. It was not until the late 1990s that Domori was founded in Italy by Gianluca Franzoni. Franzoni's goal was to exclusively process pure Criollo and fine Trinitario or Nacional cocoa varieties into extraordinary chocolates at his new manufactory near Turin. The fine cocoa comes from the San José cocoa plantation in Venezuela. Today, Domori, the majority of which has been owned by coffee producer Illy since 2006, is one of the best chocolate manufacturers in the world. Domori chocolates offer a rare variety of aromas.
