Organic Beef Bone Broth, simmered for 24 hours

Bone Brox's organic beef bone broth is a traditionally prepared beef broth made from the bones of organic pasture-raised cattle, savory and clear in taste. No off-the-shelf convenience product, no yeast extract shortcut – just 24 hours of patience in the pot, bottled in a 370 ml glass jar.

Organic Beef Bone Broth provides you with a rich beef broth in minutes, just like the kind that used to sit on the stove for hours, and comes from the Berlin-based manufacturer Bone Brox. Beef bones from certified organic pasture-raised cattle, carrots, onions, and a splash of apple cider vinegar simmer together in the pot for 24 hours until they become a golden-brown, savory broth that tastes of nothing but itself.

Savory, well-rounded, and with the roasted aroma of the bones

The broth shimmers golden-brown in the glass and smells of roasted bones, root vegetables, and a hint of bay leaf. On the palate, it is savory, well-rounded, and slightly salty, with a warm finish that lingers.

The carrots and onions provide a mild sweetness, the apple cider vinegar adds freshness in the background, and ginger and pepper contribute to the warm finish. The broth is just as good enjoyed pure from a mug as it is as a quiet base in the pan – it never pushes itself to the forefront, but instead elevates the flavor of the other ingredients.

Enjoyed plain or as a base for sauces

Whether as a warming drink in between meals or as a base for soups, risotto, and sauces – organic beef bone broth is incredibly versatile in the kitchen.

"Brox brings an old tradition into the modern day and makes grandma's hearty broth socially acceptable again. Whether as a base for soups or as a sauce – Brox should be in every kitchen arsenal," says Michelin-starred chef Wolfgang Müller. Poured hot with a little freshly chopped ginger, it reveals its bold side, just as it does as a stock for a wintery risotto. Anyone who keeps the organic chicken bone broth in their pantry will rarely have to cook without a strong foundation.

Two friends and their broth since 2016

Jin-Woo Bae and Konrad Kaspar Knops founded Bone Brox in Berlin in 2016 after meeting during CrossFit training.

Jin-Woo Bae likes to share that he grew up with the traditional hearty broth of his Korean mother – this memory gave him the idea to bring grandma's recipe back into the Berlin kitchen. In their founding year, the two won the Gastro-Gründerpreis and the Next Organic Food Start-Up Award; a year later, they stood before investors on "Die Höhle der Löwen" (The Lion's Den). Impressive.

37 percent beef bones, water, vegetables, and spices – that's all this broth needs. Those who want to try the entire Bone Brox range will also find the GAPS organic chicken meat broth there as a milder alternative.

Heat slowly, never let boil

Heat the broth slowly in a pot, never letting it boil, to keep the flavor well-rounded. Pure from a mug with some freshly ground pepper, or as a stock for risotto, lentil soup, and gravy – 370 ml is enough for a rich base. Once opened, it keeps in the fridge for a few days, ready for your next evening of cooking.
