The Ferdinands Experience Set is a great gift set with five sample bottles to taste your way through the colorful variety of the Ferdinand's range. The attractive gift packaging contains 5x50ml of Ferdinands: naturally the Ferdinands Saar Dry Gin, the Saar Quince, Quince Gin Liqueur, Ferdinands Rosé Vermouth as well as red and white Vermouth.

What makes Ferdinands Gin special are the more than 30 finely tuned botanicals, predominantly from the Saar region's own cultivation, in combination with the finest Riesling grapes from the great Saarburger Rausch vineyard of the Forstmeister Geltz-Zilliken winery. Red vineyard peach, quince, Rubinette and sloe are combined with herbs such as apple mint, lemon thyme, chamomile, lemon verbena and fennel, spices such as coriander, cardamom, pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg and of course juniper, as well as blossoms such as hops, elderflower, hibiscus, almond, jasmine and lavender, along with ginger, bergamot, sandalwood and licorice, to create this unique explosion of flavor.

The distinguishing feature of the Quince Gin Ferdinands Saar Quince, in addition to the gin based on an infusion of Riesling Kabinett from the Forstmeister Geltz-Zilliken winery, are the freshly harvested Muscat quinces, a rare pear quince variety, from their own cultivation.

The Ferdinands Rosé Vermouth is a German vermouth handmade in small batches. Its unmistakable, bitter character is due not only to the namesake wormwood herb but also to lovage and wild garlic. Its summery color is not due to the Saar Riesling from the Forstmeister Geltz Zilliken winery, but primarily to local rhubarb, red vineyard peach and large-fruited cranberries. Elderflower, grape and passionflower, as well as Seville orange peel, contribute to its fragrance. Its brothers, Vermouth White and Red, are also combined with Riesling Kabinett and Ferdinand Gin botanicals to create a bitter vino - a bitter, aromatized wine.

The creators of Ferdinands Gin include not only Dorothee Zilliken, winemaker of the VDP winery Forstmeister Geltz-Zilliken, and Master Distiller Andreas Vallander, but above all their friends, the brothers Denis Reinhardt and Erik Wimmers, who had the idea for this great German gin. With their shared passion for high-quality spirits, the four have created a unique, handmade product that is an aromatic reflection of their home region.
