Ceramic Step Vase – black and white

Casa Cubista – Ceramic Stepped Vase – dash black

The Casa Cubista ceramic vase is a flower vase from Portugal, hand-painted with black and white stripes. The beautiful terracotta vase, made of high-quality stoneware, is handcrafted and glazed in Portugal for Casa Cubista. Due to its distinctive shape, this vase style is also referred to as a stepped vase.

With this trendy stepped vase made of black-and-white painted ceramic in a striped design, you are treating yourself to a magnificent home accessory. The ceramic vase adds style and elegance to your table setting. The vase is a suitable place for fresh flower bouquets, a bouquet of dried flowers, or a decorative branch. However, it also looks wonderfully decorative when "empty," and black and white is a timeless theme. Standing 19.5 centimeters tall, the stepped silhouette draws the eye upward and gives the table setting a tranquil center.

Along with the short black stripes of this vase, terracotta, blue, or green assert themselves effortlessly, as all patterns and sizes in the collection follow the same grid. Mix and match – give it a try!

Care instructions: Before first use, please wash the ceramic vase by hand with hot soapy water, rinse with clear water, and let it air dry. The base of pitchers, mugs, and vases may sweat initially. This is normal and will decrease over time. Please protect delicate surfaces that may be affected by water marks. If you fill a vase or pitcher with fresh flowers, please change the water daily. This prevents the smell of flower water from absorbing into the terracotta.

Casa Cubista – Ceramics from Portugal

Casa Cubista was founded about ten years ago by David Pimentel and his friend Arrens in Olhão in the Algarve. David has Portuguese roots and wanted to bring quality craftsmanship from his home country to tables in other countries as well. After all, sitting at a set table with family or friends is pure joy. With their beautiful ceramics, Casa Cubista brings a love for beautiful things into your everyday life.

Casa Cubista ceramic tableware is produced according to David's designs in a family-run workshop in the Algarve. Each vase is made on the potter's wheel and is handled by Rui, whose family has mastered the craft of pottery for over 200 years. It is turned, sanded, and individually glazed in these great colors—which, by the way, are food-safe and free of harmful chemicals—by his aunt Regina and others. When washed by hand, the shine over the black stripes remains as clear as the glaze received in the Algarve. Each piece is unique. Small irregularities in the glaze are normal and intentional. As a result, every vase always looks a little different. Casa Cubista ceramics are truly handcrafted.
