Questions about Sea salt with tomatoes?

We are happy to help you with Casale Paradiso.

Sea salt with tomatoes as a fruity seasoning salt

The sea salt with tomatoes from Casale Paradiso is an Italian seasoning salt made from coarse sea salt and dried tomatoes. It seasons and adds flavor in one step, from tomato sauce to salad. Not just plain table salt, but a tomato salt from the Abruzzo region.

Sea salt with tomatoes is a fruity seasoning salt that brings Mediterranean tomato flavor directly into the salt, known in Italy as "Sale Marino al pomodoro." Casale Paradiso from Abruzzo combines coarse sea salt with finely ground dried tomatoes and fills 200g into the bag. A tomato salt that gives every pinch a touch of the South, completely without artificial flavorings.

Salty, fruity, sun-dried

Even upon opening, the salt smells of sun-dried tomatoes—salty, fruity, and warm. A scent that immediately makes you think of an Italian summer kitchen. You can practically see the sun-dried tomatoes before you, ripened in the sun.

On the tongue, you first taste the clear, robust sea salt, followed by the concentrated tomato sweetness that gives every dish depth. The coarse crystals have a pleasant crunch and release their aroma gradually, ensuring the taste lingers. A salt that does more than just salt; it seasons as well, saving you from reaching for multiple spice jars.

Unlike pure table salt, this seasoning salt brings color and fruit, with small red tomato pieces of barely 2 mm among the white crystals. A level teaspoon corresponds to about 5 g and seasons a portion without the need for additional salt.

Over tomato sugo and mozzarella

Sea salt with tomatoes belongs wherever tomato and a Mediterranean touch are requested, from pasta to grilled dishes.

It is particularly good as a final pinch over a tomato sugo, over mozzarella with olive oil, or over a ripe tomato salad with basil. On focaccia and bruschetta, over grilled vegetables, fried potatoes, or scrambled eggs, it instantly brings Italian flair. It is best to sprinkle it over the finished dish at the end so the tomato aroma remains most vibrant.

It also works well on the rim of a plate with grilled fish or as a flavorful note in a salad vinaigrette. A pinch replaces both salt and tomato seasoning in one. A fine herbal note is provided by the sea salt with rosemary from the same producer. Both pair wonderfully with our Italian specialties.

One pinch is enough to give a dish both tomato flavor and salt; two pinches if you want it to be more robust. Thus, the 200 g in the bag will accompany many meals, from the first summer salad to the last sugo in the autumn, before it is empty.

A seasoning salt from Abruzzo

The salt is made by Casale Paradiso, a family business in Chieti Scalo, Abruzzo, founded in 1994 by Nicola Mammarella. Sea salt, sun, and tomatoes—that is how this fruity seasoning salt is created here.

The dried tomatoes are ground and mixed with the coarse sea salt, completely without artificial flavorings, just as Nicola has done from the beginning. When stored in a dry place, the salt remains free-flowing and aromatic for a long time, so the 200 g in the bag will accompany many dishes before it is empty.

You can find more from this kitchen under the specialties from Casale Paradiso, from pasta seasoning mixes to risotto blends. Buon appetito.

Casale Paradiso

Sorgsam zusammengestellt, aromatisch, unkompliziert.
