Alpha Chef's Knife - Olive - 21cm

Güde Alpha Chef's Knife – with Olive Wood Handle

The Güde Chef's Knife X805/21 from the Alpha Series features a beautiful olive wood handle. This Güde knife fits comfortably in the hand, thanks in part to the trademark of the Güde Alpha series: the secondary bolster or forged pommel at the end of the handle, which gives the Güde Alpha knives their excellent balance while cutting.

This versatile all-round knife has a tapered blade and is an essential tool for any kitchen. Like all Güde knives, this Güde Alpha chef's knife is hand-forged and hand-sharpened. The 21cm long blade, made of chrome-vanadium-molybdenum knife steel, is forged from a single piece, rust-proof, and ice-hardened. The standard rivets are made of stainless steel, while the palm rivet is made of non-stainless aluminum.

The olive wood handle scales, with their unique grain and coloration, provide the special charm of this knife series. Once the chef's knife with the olive wood handle has finished its work, the 21cm blade should be cleaned by hand. A cloth dampened with warm water is usually sufficient. This knife is not dishwasher safe.

Güde Knives – Olive

The Güde Alpha series combines classic Solingen craftsmanship with a Mediterranean lifestyle. The knives are high-quality, highly functional, and feature a timeless, simple design. These classic knives now receive a Mediterranean touch with handle scales made from select olive wood. The olive wood, sourced from 100 to 500-year-old olive trees, is very hard and robust. The Güde Alpha series with an olive wood handle is the perfect combination of traditional Mediterranean wood and the finest forging artistry.

Blade hand-forged from a single piece of chrome-vanadium-molybdenum knife steel. Processed through more than 40 manual steps. Each handle scale is unique; grain patterns and inclusions are intentional. The blade is rust-proof, ice-hardened, and hand-sharpened; it is not dishwasher safe.
