Metzger Glühvieh Rosé – Vintner Mulled Wine from the Palatinate
Metzger Glühvieh Rosé is a vintner mulled wine from Uli Metzger in the Palatinate. Metzger's Glühvieh Rosé will accompany you through the cold season. What makes this vintner mulled wine special: the wine base is a robust rosé! This allows it to wonderfully combine classic mulled wine aromas like cinnamon, clove, and orange with berry fruit flavors such as raspberry and strawberry. By heating slowly to 73 degrees Celsius and no higher, the alcohol content in the Glühvieh Rosé is preserved.
Glühvieh Rosé – your perfect companion for the cold season
The Metzger Glühvieh Rosé mulled wine is an experience. Treat yourself and your friends to something special this winter and choose this mulled wine based on a robust rosé for cozy evenings at home or on the go.
Behind this mulled wine is experienced winemaker Uli Metzger. His expertise guarantees a mulled wine that meets the highest standards.
Metzger Winery – Family Tradition
Uli Metzger took over his parents' business, the Metzger winery in Asselheim near Grünstadt in the Palatinate, in 2010. The Metzger family has been practicing viticulture in the Northern Palatinate for over 100 years. Today, Uli, Karin, and their daughters Lea and Nane manage nearly 20 hectares of vineyards in good to excellent locations with distinct limestone soils. Their labels are adorned with a striking cow and sometimes even a flying pig, a unique trademark.
To make it easier for customers to find the right wine for them, the quality levels of estate wine, village wine, and single-vineyard wine were named using butcher shop terms like "Flanke" (flank), "Pastorenstück" (pastor's piece), and "Filet" (fillet). This makes it easy to navigate the Metzger winery's range.
