Crema Alpina Strawberry Cream Liqueur is the fruity representative of Marzadro’s cream liqueur range – and one that delivers exactly what its name promises: the bottle contains 2% wild strawberries, those small fragoline di bosco found along forest edges in the Trentino region. Combined with cream from fresh Trentino milk, the result is a 17% ABV liqueur.

In the glass, the Crema Alpina alle Fragoline di Bosco displays a delicate rosé color; on the palate, it is velvety and mild, with the wild strawberry remaining fruity and clear. Small berries, big presence.

Why wild strawberries instead of regular strawberries

Fragoline di bosco are tiny, more fragrant than garden strawberries, and have a more concentrated flavor – which is why two percent is enough to set the tone.

Anyone who has picked them fresh knows the difference: a wild strawberry is barely larger than a fingernail, but its aroma fills your whole hand. This is exactly the concentration a cream liqueur needs, because cream masks a lot of flavor – a regular strawberry would be lost in it. The small berry holds its own.

The accompanying cream comes from the Trentino region, made from fresh milk from the Alpine valleys. It carries the fruit without overwhelming it – and provides the velvety texture that defines the entire Crema Alpina range.

The summer choice among cream liqueurs

Served chilled, this liqueur is a perfect summer drink – over ice, in a dessert, or as a digestif after a light meal.

Eight varieties, one base

The Crema Alpina is the sweet side of a house primarily known for its grappa – all eight varieties share the same cream base and the same 17% ABV.

In addition to the wild strawberry, there is Pistacchio, Nocciola (hazelnut), Caffè, Limone, Melone, Marzipan, and Salted Caramel. The only difference is the aroma infused into the cream. You can find all eight in our Crema Alpina Liqueurs collection.

Everything is produced in Nogaredo in the Adige Valley, not far from Lake Garda, where Sabina Marzadro began distilling in 1949. Today, Andrea, Anna, and Stefano Marzadro run the house as a family business – and anyone vacationing at the lake is welcome to visit the distillery.
