The Crema Alpina Limone Miniature is a taste of the freshest variety from the Marzadro distillery: five centiliters of cream-based lemon liqueur. The same recipe as in the large bottle – the same cream from fresh Trentino milk, the same 17% vol., just in a format that fits in any cooler bag.

In the glass, the Crema Alpina Riviera dei Limoni shows a pale yellow; on the palate, it remains velvety while the lemon brightens the cream. Two glasses, a warm evening – rarely is more required.

The summer variety to get to know

Five centiliters are enough to decide if lemon and cream are a match for you.

Acidity cuts through fat – the principle of every lemon tart, translated here into a liqueur glass. Cream from the valley, lemon from the lake

The name Riviera dei Limoni points south, to the western shore of Lake Garda.

There, between Limone sul Garda and Gargnano, the limonaie still stand today – tall stone pillars with glass roofs, where lemon trees were kept over the winter. The lake keeps the winters mild enough for this. The cream comes from the other direction, from the alpine valleys of Trentino: mountain and lake in five centiliters.

At Marzadro, the cream liqueurs are the typical expression of the alpine valleys, as the family themselves calls it. The size of the bottle doesn't change the recipe – the miniature contains exactly what is in the large bottle.

Distilling takes place in Nogaredo in the Adige Valley, not far from Lake Garda, where Sabina Marzadro began distilling in 1949. Over 75 years later, Andrea, Anna, and Stefano Marzadro continue to run the house – the children of their brother Attilio, who took over in 1960. The dessert is already chilled for the barbecue

From a proper glass, well-chilled at 8 to 10 degrees, the freshness comes to the fore and the cream stays in the background. Poured over lemon sorbet, it becomes a dessert in ten seconds; in Prosecco, an aperitif. And if you are already cutting up lemons for a barbecue, you already have dessert waiting in the cold.
