Master distiller Andrea Marzadro uses only the heart of the distillate for this popular grappa, which then matures for a full 18 months in small barrels made of cherry wood, ash, oak, and robinia. The maturation period is based on the natural rhythm of nature: 18 full moons, i.e., 18 months, Diciotto Lune.
• The Marzadro Grappa Anfora is made from carefully selected Trentino pomace, obtained from the best wine grapes. It consists of 80% red grape varieties, such as Teroldego, Marzemino, and Merlot, and 20% white grape varieties, such as Chardonnay, Müller-Thurgau, and Muscat. But what truly makes it unique is its special maturation in traditional terracotta amphorae - affinata in Terracotta.
