The Honey Wanderers – Spring Blossom Honey – 250g

The spring blossom honey from Simon & Stefanie is collected by the Honey Wanderers' bees as early as the end of April in the orchard meadows of the Hersbrucker Alb, their home region. The beehives are located precisely at these coordinates: N49° 28' 6.575" E11° 28' 58.148". Spring blossom honey is a regional organic blossom honey from fruit trees such as apples, pears, and plums; it is creamy, mild, and pleasantly fruity.

Simon & Stefanie – the special honey

The Honey Wanderers know about the abilities of their bee colonies; bees are naturally extremely skilled builders. Therefore, the Honey Wanderers do not use any foundation sheets in the honey supers but rely on the natural comb building that is appropriate for the bees. The honey is stored and matures in artistic, wonderfully fragrant structures, in combs built by the bees. Even if the yield is somewhat lower, the honey, in the end, offers a very special taste experience.

If it plays a role in your purchasing decision whether a honey is rather liquid or creamy, we would like to give you the following information: Even if the product photo shows honey with a liquid consistency, honey can crystallize at any time. This is a quality characteristic of honey, as it shows that it is untreated, i.e., not heat-treated, and has a purely natural composition. Honey with a high glucose content crystallizes more readily than honey with a high fructose content. Therefore, the crystallization of honey is not a reason for complaint but depends on the natural composition of the sugar types. To re-liquefy the honey, place the closed jar for 5-10 minutes in a pot with water heated to approx. 40 degrees Celsius, then stir the honey until the sugar crystals have dissolved. This way, you can use liquid honey again.

The Honey Wanderers – in harmony with nature

The goal of beekeeping is not maximum honey yield but the healthy and natural development of their bee colonies. This includes, in addition to sufficient food from collecting pollen and nectar, that the bees can follow their natural instincts, such as comb building. For bees, the combs are not only honey storage but also brood chamber, nursery, living room, and pantry. The Honey Wanderers therefore ensure that the combs are made of clean wax and natural materials, such as wood with organic glaze.
