Elixir Tasting Glasses – here's how

The small beaker glass of apothecaries & alchemists is part of Dr. Jaglas' heritage. The Jaglas beaker glasses are specially produced by a glassworks for tasting the elixirs. For pure enjoyment, we recommend a quantity of 20 ml (= 2 cl). This corresponds to the dosage quantity of the elixir dispenser.

Then slowly roll the elixirs – as in a wine tasting – in the front part of your mouth. This way, all taste buds are moistened and the aromas can unfold in all their facets.

Dr. Jaglas – Apothecary Tradition

For decades, the Jagla apothecary family refined a 15th-century monastery apothecary recipe. The Pharmacopoea Germanica (the old German Pharmacopoeia) still serves as the basis for individual production steps and is still prepared today in the family pharmacy in Wuppertal.
