Le Jacquard Français Glass Cloth – Cristal Ardoise

The Le Jacquard Français Cristal Ardoise Glass Cloth is a French tea towel made of 100% linen, which is particularly suitable for lint-free polishing of glassware. The gray tone of this cloth is a dark slate gray. Woven using the jacquard method, it has an impressive size of 60x80cm and a woven label for easy hanging in your kitchen.

The fine Le Jacquard Français glass cloth made of pure linen is decorated with a sophisticated, elegant illustration of crystal glasses, bringing a French "savoir-vivre" attitude to your home.

The linen cloth is available in the colors Poivre Gris - pepper gray, pure white - Blanc, modern slate gray - Ardoise, and a fresh, light mist gray - Brume. The shades can be combined with one another.

Le Jacquard Français linen cloths are certified with the "Masters of Linen" label. This distinguishes products that have been manufactured 100% in Europe, from the harvest and fiber to the finished fabric. For this, they work in cooperation with Terre de Lin, a cooperative of flax growers who together preserve their expertise and share and further develop skills related to production and social engagement.

The Le Jacquard tea towel can be washed wonderfully at up to 60 degrees, making it truly suitable for everyday use and a great help to you. To preserve its quality, you should refrain from using fabric softener and avoid tumble drying. This great kitchen towel with a hanger can also be used as a small tablecloth.

Weaving art à la française – Tradition since 1861

The history of the company Le Jacquard Français goes back to 1861, when Benjamin Baer opened a fabric shop in Gérardmer in the French Vosges mountains. In 1928, the successors, the Nathan Lévy weaving mill, expanded the business to include a bleachery, as white linens were extremely popular at the time. In 1968, the company was taken over by the ELIS Group, which purchased more than 50 looms for weaving jacquard fabrics and launched the Le Jacquard Français brand. As the quintessence of creative and technical know-how, the tea towels are woven with the greatest care in the textile factory in the Vosges and subsequently sewn there. The products are of excellent quality and are woven from 100% cotton. The combed long fibers result in a supple, very smooth, and durable fabric. The fineness of the silk-soft yarns gives the designs incomparable brilliance and precision.
