The Raritas Bergamot Orange Liqueur from the Lantenhammer Distillery is a wonderfully citrusy liqueur made from Italian citrus fruits. Few fruits are as emblematic of the narrow, yet sun-drenched coastal strip in southern Italian Calabria as the bergamot orange. This aromatic citrus fruit, a cross between a citron and a bitter orange, brings a cornucopia of fragrant, fruity aromas. In combination with Sicilian oranges, which are infused whole with their peel, a crystal-clear liqueur with an exceptional taste is created.

At the Tegernsee Schlossbrennerei, the Lantenhammer Master Distillers distill this exceptionally fruity taste experience from both citrus fruits in historical stills.

Bergamot Liqueur with the Flavors of the South

The Wolpertinger is a shy mythical creature from Bavarian mythology. Almost as difficult as catching it is finding the perfect fruits for distilling liqueurs. But in the Bergamot Orange Liqueur, young Lantenhammer distiller Christina Kölbl always manages to make the right choice. That's why the bottle is adorned with the seemingly impossible animal. At the Schlossbrennerei, she distills a potent heart of citrus fruits, creating the basis for a spirit that can then mature into a liqueur.

The Raritas Bergamot Orange Liqueur is a fresh, pleasantly fruity drink that can be enjoyed neat and well-chilled, or mixed with Prosecco or tonic water. It pairs well with fruit salad, quark desserts, and desserts with white chocolate.
