The Steitz Pinot Brut Nature 2020 is a wonderfully dry estate sparkling wine made from elegant Pinot Blanc grapes, bottled without dosage. Weingut Steitz selects the best Pinot Blanc grapes from volcanic soils in the finest vineyard plots around Steinbockenheim in Rheinhessen for their sparkling wine. The base wine is aged in stainless steel tanks, and the sparkling wine matures for 22 months on the lees as a traditional bottle fermentation. An estate sparkling wine that is truly impressive.

On the nose, the Steitz Sekt Pinot Brut Nature entices with yellow fruits and delicate notes of fresh white bread. On the palate, it is lively and clear, brilliant and very precise. Its fine, persistent mousseux promises joyful pleasure.

Christian and Diana Steitz have taken on a lot in recent years. In 2015, nine years ago, the two completely took over the winery from Christian's parents. It started with redesigning the labels and a new homepage. This was followed by major renovations at the winery and the newly designed guest rooms, but the change went much deeper. Christian Steitz found his own style, increasingly pursuing more natural methods in winemaking, trying his hand at orange wines and noble wines.
