Organic Pinot Blanc from Rheinhessen, creamy and round

The Steitz Pinot Blanc 2025 is a dry organic white wine from the Steitz winery in Steinbockenheim, Rheinhessen, and a classic example of its variety. Fruity, creamy, round. The new vintage offers soft fruit and fine freshness.

Steitz Pinot Blanc 2025 is a classic organic white wine from the Steitz winery, produced as a certified organic estate wine grown on volcanic soil in Rheinhessen. Ripe pineapple, melon, and a hint of cool stone reveal its origins. A creamy Pinot Blanc, slightly rounder and softer than its predecessor, with fine freshness. Let yourself be surprised by a round, approachable white.

Pineapple, melon, and cool stone

Star-bright yellow shines in the glass. On the nose, ripe pineapple and Charentais melon with a touch of cool stone, revealing the mountainous origin of the fruit in this corner of Rheinhessen. The very first scent from the glass makes you look forward to the first sip.

On the palate, the Pinot Blanc brings lively apple and melon aromas into play, carried by body and creaminess. The wine is fruity, creamy, and juicy, with a herbal, relaxed finish. The softer acidity of this vintage makes it particularly accessible. You can tell immediately that drinkability and charm are the priorities here.

Pairs with pasta, poultry, and fish

The Steitz Pinot Blanc accompanies light meat dishes, poultry, pasta with cream sauce, or fried fish. With its round, creamy style, it pairs well with many things on the table without being overpowering. Its softness, in particular, makes it an uncomplicated companion. It is also a pleasure with mild cheese or a quiche.

Well-chilled at 10 to 12 degrees in a white wine glass, it shows its full-bodied side. If you like the same grape variety sparkling, try the Pinot Brut Nature Sekt, or browse through our German white wines.

Christian and Finn Steitz from Steinbockenheim

The grapes for this estate wine grow on volcanic soil in various vineyards across Rheinhessen, in a mountainous, cool corner of the region. The cool, mountainous location gives the wine its lively freshness. After the harvest and slow fermentation, the wine matures for a long time on the lees in stainless steel tanks, which gives it smoothness and freshness.

Christian and Diana Steitz took over the winery from Christian's parents in 2015 and have since pursued nature-oriented paths, experimenting with orange and amphora wines. Since the 2022 vintage, the winery has been organically certified and is "fair'n green" rated. Step by step, a distinct and clear style has emerged from this.

Straightforward, unpretentious, and authentic is how Christian Steitz describes his wines. Since the 2024 vintage, the next generation, his son Finn, has been working on authentic wines of origin from Rheinhessen. If you would like to try more, you can find other organic wines from the Steitz winery with us.

Round Pinot Blanc for poultry and pasta

Ten to twelve degrees and a white wine glass provide the perfect setting for this round vintage. A reliable companion for poultry, pasta, or fish, it only fully reveals its creaminess as it warms slightly in the glass. An opened bottle stays fresh for two days when well-chilled. You will quickly come to appreciate this round white—a wine you'll be happy to have on hand.
