Peppermint Crisps are the crunchy mint chocolates from the Summerdown farm in Hampshire. Each 170-gram box contains discs of dark chocolate infused with fine sugar crystals and flavored with the estate’s own distilled Black Mitcham peppermint oil.

First the melt, then the crunch

With the first bite, the disc feels like smooth dark chocolate, then the sugar pieces come through, crunching between the teeth. This delicate crackle accompanies the entire melting process and persists until the very last piece. The slower the disc melts, the more prominent the crunch becomes.

In terms of flavor, bitter cocoa and cool mint sit side by side, with the sugar pieces adding bright, sweet notes in between. The Black Mitcham oil remains round and mild, its freshness lingering long without ever becoming sharp or overpowering the chocolate.
