Fine Marzipan Loaf from Confiserie Imping

The fine marzipan loaf from Confiserie Imping is the classic treat for Advent and Christmas, made from fine marzipan, a must-have on every festive plate. The finest fine marzipan is hand-formed and coated in dark chocolate.

To make good marzipan, you don't actually need much: almonds and sugar in the right ratio, a little drinking water, and a little rose water. First, a raw marzipan paste, which can contain a maximum of 35% sugar, is produced. This is then turned into marzipan by adding more sugar. For the designation "fine marzipan," the product must consist of at least 70% raw marzipan paste and a maximum of 30% added sugar. In Imping's fine marzipan loaf, the sugar content is even lower than the legal requirement.

With the Confiserie Imping range, we have a local artisanal manufacturer, based in the western Münsterland region, in our product line. With the passionate confectioner Eva-Maria Imping, the third generation is now on board, focusing on quality, tradition, and classic taste experiences for the future. Especially the Christmas pastries, such as vanilla crescents, cinnamon stars, dominoes, and the marzipan loaf, have been popular for years.

Founded in 1953 by grandparents Alfons and Irmgard Imping, the confectionery with café quickly became known for its masterfully prepared delicacies made from selected, fresh ingredients. In the mid-1980s, the second generation, with son Walter Imping and his wife Hedwig, took over the family business. They continued to focus on the artisanal production of exquisite pralines, truffles, and fine pastries, and today supply specialist shops throughout Germany. The processing of the best ingredients is still as important to them today as it was to the founders in 1953.

With Eva Maria Imping, the Imping name continues to stand for traditional craftsmanship in the most beautiful liaison with the highest quality, for exquisite enjoyment and a pinch of happiness!
